January is nearly over and we continue to deliver to our clients at an amazing rate.

Following on from our successful delivery of substructure drawings to Taylor Wimpey South Thames we are in the final stage of delivering superstructure construction issue drawings for 225 houses and apartments at their NES Crawley development, being the fourth phase with our involvement.

We are now working at full pace on superstructure drawings for 126 houses and apartments for Taylor Wimpey West London’s development at The Romans, Andover and anticipate these to start being issued over the next couple of weeks. This is the sixth phase on this site that we have been involved with and look forward to working on future phases.

Coast, our luxury apartment project for Taylor Wimpey Southern on the Bournemouth sea front is nearing completion and the first 21 apartments in Tower B were occupied by their new owners just before Christmas.

Our scheme for Taylor Wimpey West London at the former RAF Ruislip site in Ickenham is now well advanced, all houses are now complete and the two large concrete frame towers are structurally complete with works having started on the internal partitions and external cladding.

At last! The Grade 2 listed manor house in West Malling for Taylor Wimpey South Thames finally looks like starting after 18 months of design and discussion. The building has collapsed internally and will be supported using an external scaffold skeleton while workers are lowered down internally stripping out the collapsed roof and floors as they go.

VACANCY

We have a vacancy for a new member of our small team based in Horsell near Woking. The position would ideally suit an architectural technician or Part 2 Architect, but all levels of experience will be considered. We are a flexible employer and part time applicants (to suit school hours for example) would be welcome.

You would be part of a small team working on large multi unit residential schemes developing planning drawings through to production stage level. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience of working drawing and the Building Regulations and to work on all aspects of building construction, no prior experience of this form of work is necessary but an understanding and interest in building construction would be an advantage.

Salary is negotiable based upon qualification and experience.
