Another year over and what have we done?

As usual December has been an extremely busy month with most of our clients looking to put in place production information ready to start tendering and construction in the New Year and Spring.

So far in December we have delivered detailed production phase information for the first 30 of 126 houses and apartments for Taylor Wimpey West London’s development at The Romans, Andover. This is the sixth phase on this site that we have been involved with and look forward to working on future phases.

For Taylor Wimpey South Thames we have delivered construction issue substructure drawings for 225 houses and apartments at their NES Crawley development, being the fourth phase with our involvement.

Coast, our luxury apartment project for Taylor Wimpey Southern on the Bournemouth sea front is nearing completion and the first apartments in Tower B are due to be handed over to their new owners before Christmas, with Tower A following on soon after in the New Year.

Our luxury and historic division has also been busy and in the last few days we have submitted a Full Planning Application and Listed Buildings application for the extension and alteration of a £15m Grade 2 listed town house on Egerton Crescent, SW3. The project involves the insertion of a passenger lift serving all five floors along with a £2m refurbishment of the whole property.

On the bespoke homes front our successful association with Luxuria Developments Ltd continues with detailed planning consent having been gained for a new 6 bedroom luxury house in Woking and a Full Planning Application for a second luxury house on the same site currently being considered by the Local Planning Authority.

Progression on the national standard sporting facility that we have been working on for 18 months has stalled recently due to issues with the acquisition of the various sites necessary. Exciting news received this week looks like an even bigger and expanded facility may be achieved on a different site in the same area, but we can say no more at this time. Hopefully we will have some more positive and exciting news early in the New Year.

We wish all our clients, fellow consultants and friends a very Happy Christmas.
