Well into March and output continues to race on.

Superstructure drawings for 225 timber frame houses and apartments at Taylor Wimpey South Thames NES Crawley development were successfully completed and delivered at the beginning of March. We are now co-ordinating with the other members of the consultant team and the timber frame designers, providing ongoing support towards a start on site in April.

Superstructure drawings for 126 houses and apartments for Taylor Wimpey West London’s development Saxon Heights, Andover are nearing completion and the first tranches have been delivered to the other members of the consultant team and nominated suppliers for co-ordination and onward development of components and materials.

Coast, our luxury apartment project for Taylor Wimpey Southern on the Bournemouth sea front is almost complete. We will be visiting later in the month for a final critical view and some photo opportunities.

The Grade 2 listed manor house in West Malling for Taylor Wimpey South Thames is moving closer to a start. Surveying the existing building is impossible due to the collapsed state therefore a drone is to be flow remotely to photograph what remains of the interior. This was originally intended for the first week in March however high winds required that this was postponed, they did manage to grab some pretty cool aerial shots though.

VACANCY

It looks like we may have filled one position however we still have a vacancy for a new member of our small team based in Horsell near Woking. The position would ideally suit an architectural technician or Part 2 Architect, but all levels of experience will be considered. We are a flexible employer and part time applicants (to suit school hours for example) would be welcome.

You would be part of a small team working on large multi unit residential schemes developing planning drawings through to production stage level. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience of working drawing and the Building Regulations and to work on all aspects of building construction, no prior experience of this form of work is necessary but an understanding and interest in building construction would be an advantage.

Salary is negotiable based upon qualification and experience.
